- Main Area: Wound care with antimicrobial dressings
- Contract: Voluntary, 9 months
- Hours: Flexible, home or remote working
- Salary: £1 – £300 per session (reimbursement policy details provided)
- Commitment: 80% meeting attendance

Candidate Requirements:
- Target Professionals: Tissue viability nurses, district nurses, community nurses, diabetes specialist nurses, prescribing advisors, pharmacists, antimicrobial pharmacists, microbiologists, GPs with wound care interest, podiatrists, advanced clinical nurse practitioners, and academics in wound care.
- Essential Skills: Experience in healthcare, active professional registration, ability to understand and interpret complex data, commitment to equality and inclusion, and time to commit to committee work.
Main Duties:
- Engagement: Attend and actively participate in various committee meetings and workshops.
- Responsibilities: Use personal and professional knowledge to contribute to guidance development, review and comment on documents, advise on care pathways and evidence selection, collaborate with NICE staff and other committee members, and ensure guidance reflects equality considerations.
Working Conditions:
- Remuneration: Unpaid, with reimbursement for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses for attending in-person meetings.
- Meetings: Participation in User Preference meetings, committee meetings, and preparation sessions.
Expectations:
- Conduct: Act professionally, courteously, impartially, and honestly, following NICE’s codes of conduct and operational procedures.
- Preparation: Read papers, gather relevant information, and engage in appropriate training.
